The XGN66‑12 box‑type fixed AC metal‑enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear) is suitable for 3.6‑12kV three‑phase AC 50Hz system. It serves as a device for receiving and distributing electrical energy. It is suitable for places with frequent operations and for the transformation of switch cabinets equipped with oil switches. Its busbar system is a single busbar system and single busbar sectioning system.

Put into operation
◆Users should refer to this manual and the respective manuals of the main components for self‑maintenance. The following inspections and debugging should be carried out before operation.
◆Check whether the models and specifications of the electrical components installed in the cabinet are consistent according to the order requirements. Check whether the fasteners are loose; Check whether the primary and secondary wiring is correct; Operate the disconnector, grounding switch, circuit breaker and mechanical interlock 3 to 5 times. The operation should be flexible without any jamming. The interlock should meet the "five‑prevention" requirements. Then apply grease to the moving parts of the machinery.
◆Check the insulation level and circuit resistance of the switch cabinet and the mechanical characteristics of the circuit breaker in accordance with the manual and the factory test report. The test results should be consistent with or similar to those in the factory test report.
◆Set the electrical parameters on the relay or microcomputer measurement and control device.
◆Perform power on and off operations in accordance with the instructions.
Maintenance and repair
Users should regularly maintain and inspect the switch cabinets. The contents include:
◆Clean the dust from all parts, especially the accumulated dust on the surface of the insulating parts.
◆Inspect the mechanical moving parts and add lubricating grease regularly to keep them moving flexibly and reliably.
◆Check whether the electrical contact parts have good contact, whether there is any overheating phenomenon, and whether the grounding circuit is conducting.
◆Check regularly whether the fasteners are tight.
◆Users should generally carry out fault repair under the assistance of professionals. If it is a minor adjustment or a small fault, users should conduct self‑repair by referring to this manual and the respective manuals of the main components.

Installation
◆The installation foundation is as shown in the following figure. The foundation's channel steel protrudes within 1‑3mm, with an unevenness of no more than 1.5mm per meter and a total length of no more than 5mm.
◆Place the switch cabinets in sequence on the foundation, adjust the installation positions, and then fix them firmly with M12 bolts or spot welding. Between the cabinets, tighten them with M8 bolts.
◆Remove the rear cover plate to install the main busbar and the primary power supply. The contact surface of the terminals should be cleaned thoroughly and coated with neutral Vaseline. After installation, seal the cable holes.
◆Connect the indirect grounding busbar of the connection cabinet to form a whole along the arrangement direction of the switch cabinet. Check whether there is any omission in the working grounding and protective grounding, and whether the grounding circuit is connected and conducting. The working grounding resistance should not exceed 1000μΩ, and the protective grounding resistance should not exceed 4Ω.
◆Install the secondary cables. The cables are introduced from the bottom at the front of the cabinet, enter the low‑voltage room along the test wall, and are distributed on the terminal block. Or introduce it into the low‑voltage room from the secondary small busbar on the top of the cabinet, install it, and then seal the cable holes.
◆Clean the dust and debris inside the cabinet.
